That’s correct ! The blue part is the sea, lakes and rivers where there is a lot of water.Then, do you know what this green part is ?

Yes, the green part is the place where there are forests and trees. Do you think there are many or few ?

Today, I would like to talk about many animals and living creatures, and my green part: forests and trees.

This is Thailand. This animal from Thailand, what is it ? Yes, it’s snake. It’s python which is very big among the snake. Well then, do you know what country this is ?

It’s Indonesia. And this living creature from Indonesia, what is it ?

Right ! It’s beetle. There are many species of big beetles in Indonesia.Now, what country is this ?

It’s Fiji. It’s a country consisting of many islands in the South Pacific.Then, do you know what this living creature from Fiji is ?
It’s coral. In Fiji, it’s a very familiar living creature in the sea.

Hallo everyone ! I am Takku, the raccoon dog from Japan. Pleased to meet you ! Japan is a nice country. This is the flower I like. Do you know what it is ?

Right. It’s cherry blossom (dandelion). There are many beautiful flowers in Japan. Then, this is the Japanese forest where I am living. Do you know what kind of trees are growing there ?

The presenter points a finger to the forest at the back of the house and listens to the answer from the children.

Yes, they are Japanese cedar, Japanese cypress, oak, quercus serrata and others. The acorns of oak and quercus serrata are my favorite food.
Also, there are many beautiful places, wonderful animals and delicious food in Japan.

"Bula" everyone !
I am Dakuwaka, the coral from Fiji. "Bula" means "Hallo" in the Fiji language. Let’s greet together in the Fiji language."Bula" !

The sea is very beautiful in Fiji. Do you know what the corals are ?

That’s right. The corals are living creatures of different colors such as red, yellow, green or purple which live in the clean sea. In Fiji, there are many forests like this near the sea where we live. Have you ever seen any forest on the sea ?

Buakhaw, the python from Thailand

“Sawasdee khrap” !
I am Buakhaw, the python from Thailand. Pleased to meet you ! In Thailand, we greet with the palms pressed together in a prayer-like fashion. Men say “Sawasdee khrap” and women say “Sawasdee kha”. Let’s greet in the Thai language. One, two, three, Boys: “Sawasdee khrap” and girls: “Sawasdee kha” !

Thailand is a warm country, and beautiful flowers are blooming all year round. This beautiful flower is the national flower of Thailand. Do you know its name ?
The answer is “Golden Shower”. In the Thai language, we call it “Chaphruek” which means the tree of victory. It’s one of my favorite trees. In the old days, there were many Golden Shower trees near the forest of my hometown. Are there any other things in Thailand which you know ?

Hey, everyone ! I am Shiboran, the beetle from Indonesia.
Do you know how to say “Hallo” in Indonesian ?

We say “Selamat Siang”.

In the forest of my home country, Indonesia, there are many living creatures and various species of trees and flowers. There are also many kinds of fruits. This is my favorite fruit. Do you know what it is ?

The presenter points to papaya and listens to the answer from the children.

Yes, it’s papaya. There are also many other delicious fruits. And there are, not only fruits, but many interesting animals in Indonesia.
Here are Mountain Hawk-Eagle and Varanus Komodoensis. They are very rare animals which are not found in other countries.

I can’t imagine at all the coral reeves and forests on the sea. What kind of forest is it ?

I can’t imagine either that you have not seen the corals in the sea. I want to show you the beautiful sea and scenery of Fiji.
